Provider Pays requirements become effective 1st April 2021 

Since the launch of the Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (CPCS) in October 2019, NHS England has paid for accredited IT system suppliers to support community pharmacy teams with the delivery of this service; funding coming from the Pharmacy Integration fund.

Contractors were advised that in April 2021, this existing payment model would change, with NHS England passing the cost of IT system supporting the service, to the provider i.e. community pharmacies having to source and pay for an alternative solution .

Following the initial delay to October 2021, Communication August 19th confirmed that it has been delayed an additional 6month to 1st April 2022 

Numark are continuing to work with a partner provider to offer a solution as early as possible that we feel is right for our members to manage CPCS. To enable you to make an informed decision of the most approprite solution for your pharmacy
